Thailand’s FDA approves medical product lines of Cardima Inc.
Posted in General,Government,News August 20, 2008Thailand’s Food and Drug Administration has approved marketing of the medical product lines of Cardima Inc. in Thailand as reported by the company on Tuesday.
This Fremont company makes medical devices to treat an irregular heartbeat condition called atrial fibrillation. The company’s CEO, Robert Cheney, and partners stated approval in Thailand was significant because of the country’s popularity as a medical tourism destination and suggested Thailand could become a center of affordable atrial fibrillation treatment.
