Health Ministry suspected patients in Thailand
Posted in General,Guide,News,Tourist May 16, 2009Thailand earlier had suspected 15 patients of influenza A/H1N1, of these 15 suspected patients, ten are free from the deadly influenza A/H1N1 as they had normal human flu, based on laboratory tests. Dr Paichit said that, the Ministry was currently waiting for laboratory tests, for the patients who have been quarantined at Bamrasnaradura Infectious Diseases Institute located at Nonthaburi province, that has had57 beds in five sterile rooms, with international standard for suspected influenza A/H1N1 patients.
Currently, Thailand’s Public Health Ministry updated on Monday that for a period of April 27-May 11 the country had some nine A/H1N1 flu suspected patients Thai health ministry suspected after investigating and examining the patients through laboratory tests.
The Thai public health ministry added that all arrivals at Thai international airports, ports, and borders have been monitored by involved authorities, while many thermal scanners have also been installed.
